Our client is an international leader in AI, data analytics, and maritime expertise, supporting ocean industries in becoming more efficient, compliant, and sustainable.

They are looking to hire a Strategic Business Development Manager fluent in English with strong knowledge of maritime operations and MRE to join their Sales team and develop new B2B markets across Europe. Reporting directly to the Chief Revenue Officer, you will play a key role in driving strategic growth, opening new enterprise accounts, and scaling the company’s regional impact.

Location: France or Europe

Key Responsibilities

Build and develop a qualified pipeline of new B2B opportunities

Own the full sales cycle

Navigate long and complex sales cycles involving multiple stakeholders

Work closely with internal teams (technical, product, legal, bids) to build strong, competitive proposals

Coordinate tender submissions in collaboration with the Bid team

 

Key Requirements

Strong direct-sales / hunter mindset

Proven experience selling into complex, regulated environments

Solid background in maritime, offshore wind, fisheries, data

Ability to operate within multi-stakeholder and enterprise organisations

Fluent English is mandatory; French is a plus but not essential

Willingness to travel internationally when required (approx. 20–30%)

Base salary up to €100,000, depending on profile and experience

30% OTE bonus, performance-based
