The core mission of the Technical Trainer is to deliver high-quality technical training. In this role, you will develop, update, and actively facilitate training programs for third-party resellers, internal technical staff, and customers of industrial 3D printers. Training activities are central to this position and include both theoretical and hands-on sessions. Subject matter covers the installation, operation, safety, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment of various sizes and complexities, used in aeronautical, aerospace, healthcare, defence, and industrial environments.

Responsibilities

  • You will develop training programs for both online and instructor-led courses, including presentation materials, handouts, and tests, and deliver technical training sessions in classroom and hands-on laboratory environments to customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • You’ll monitor hands-on exercises, applying knowledge of electronics, mechanics, vacuum systems, pneumatics, lasers, and programming, in conjunction with published machine, equipment, and tooling manuals.
  • You’ll demonstrate procedures and observe trainees as they perform hands-on requirements, administer written or online practical quizzes and certification exams, and maintain up-to-date training records and write performance reports summarizing and evaluating trainees’ performance.
  •  You will participate in meetings, seminars, and training sessions to gather information useful to the training process and integrate it into training programs, and collaborate proactively with R&D to stay current with new program developments and ensure training content aligns with the latest technologies.

Profile

  • The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical field, with approximately 3 years of experience in technical training or equivalent experience.
  • You should have a strong background in delivering technical training, knowledge transfer, technical troubleshooting, and support, as well as a proven ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and communicate them clearly.
  • Experience with modern training methods (AR/VR), virtual classroom tools, LMS, and online training content management is required, along with skills in video creation and editing using professional tools (Adobe Premiere, After Effects).
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills are essential, as is comfort working in a fast-paced, international environment with schedule flexibility.
  • Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel internationally as needed (approximately 15–25%) complete the profile.
